Lumina Interventional Radiology was formed as a partnership between two experienced Interventionalists to broaden access of Aucklanders to cutting-edge IR treatments.

About Lumina

Lumina IR was established in an effort to offer highly specialist interventional radiology services to clients in Auckland, Northland, and surrounding areas. We offer our diagnosis and treatment services with impressive availability and personalisation.

Our medical team is currently made up of two well-respected and experienced interventional radiologists, Dr Rukshan Fernando and Dr Rahul Bera, who also work in two of Auckland’s major hospitals.

We have a very strong relationship with Cardia, our partner interventional lab location where we carry out our procedures.

Lumina Interventional Radiology is made up of two well-respected interventional radiologists, who each have years of valuable experience in the field. Both have done fellowships in Canada and Auckland, and work in Te Whatu Ora (Health New Zealand).
